Terms and Conditions

  1. KHDA Educational Services Permit and the trade license must be valid at the time of submitting the application for this service.
  2. The nominated manager must possess full legal capacity, be of good conduct and reputation, and not have been convicted of a felony or any other crime that affects honour or trustworthiness, even if he has been rehabilitated or pardoned.
  3. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage the training institute and supervise its training programmes.
  4. The manager will be responsible for all aspects of managing and supervising the institute. Specifically, he will be responsible for:
    • supervising the technical and administrative staff.
    • managing trainees' affairs, especially regarding their enrolment, training, and addressing their complaints.
    • communicating with KHDA, providing it with data and information, and responding to its enquiries within prescribed timeframes.
    • taking the necessary steps to develop a quality assurance process for the training institute.
    • ensuring the training institute’s compliance with the provisions of the resolution and the resolutions issued pursuant thereto.
  5. When the position of manager becomes vacant, the training institute must notify KHDA of the vacancy within 10 working days. The training institute must appoint a new manager within 60 days from the date of vacancy; and this grace period may be extended if the training institute has substantial grounds for such an extension.

The Process

  • Step 1: Submit the application through the KHDA e-services portal.
  • Step 2: KHDA reviews the application.
  • Step 3: Once all conditions and requirements are met, the service fee is paid.
  • Step 4: The new manager’s information is updated, and a No Objection Certificate, valid for 30 days, is issued to the Licensing Authority.
