Guide for Implementing the Categorisation System for Students of Determination

The Categorisation System supports educational institutions in accurately identifying and classifying Students of Determination (SoD) in line with Federal Law No. 29 of 2006, Cabinet Resolution No. 3 of 2018, and Law No. 3 of 2022 on the Rights of People of Determination in Dubai.

This guide outlines the unified national disability categories and classification procedures to ensure every student receives appropriate support and equitable access to quality learning.

All educational institutions are required to apply the categorisation through the KHDA system to maintain data consistency, ensure inclusion compliance, and enhance support planning.
