About the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has launched the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme. This programme is designed to support outstanding Emirati graduates from both public and private schools to pursue their university studies at top international universities and prestigious academic programmes.
The programme aims to develop Emirati talent in Dubai by combining academic excellence with the development of specialised, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills. This approach helps meet the diverse needs of the Emirate of Dubai across various sectors. It also encourages Emirati students to pursue key specialisations that will support Dubai’s future growth.
Each year, the programme selects the top 100 male and female students to pursue bachelor's degrees in high value specialisations. The goal is to prepare a generation of leaders and innovators who can drive development in the emirate.
