This service enables permitted training institutes in Dubai to apply for KHDA approval to relocate their operations to a new site.

The processing period of 6 working days begins once KHDA has received all required documents.

Initial Approval from the relevant licensing authority.

• KHDA Educational Services Permit and the commercial license must be valid at the time of submitting the application for this service.
• The premises of the training institute must:
  • be located within the Emirate
  • be appropriate for the training activities and programmes offered by the institute
  • consistently comply with the construction and occupational health and safety requirements set by the relevant entities in accordance with the applicable legislation.
  • meet the specifications determined by the KHDA, particularly the following:
    • The premises' intake capacity must correspond with the number of learners
    • The classrooms, study halls, and other facilities must be suitable for the type of training programmes
    • All training resources, including training and teaching aids, laboratories, and information technology resources, must be available on the premises and sufficient for delivering the training programmes
    • Information signs indicating the facilities, training halls, and waiting areas must be displayed within the premises
• A signboard displaying the name of the training institute in both Arabic and English is installed on its façade.
• When a training programme is to be held outside the premises of the Training Institute, the venue must meet the conditions specified in Article 11 of Resolution (2) of 2013.

• Apply through the KHDA portal.
• The application is reviewed, and a decision is issued.
• Once approved and all requirements are fulfilled, the relocation fee is paid.
• The institute’s Educational Services Permit is updated, and a No Objection Certificate valid for 30 days is issued to the licensing authority.
