This service enables training institutes in Dubai to request the cancellation of their Educational Services Permit and the termination of all training activities.

The processing period of 2 working days begins once KHDA has received all required documents.

• If the Educational Services Permit is cancelled or not renewed, the training institute must:
  • Ensure that all enrolled trainees  have completed their training programmes before submitting a request for this service  , or offer appropriate alternative arrangements for enrolled trainees and secure KHDA approval.
  • Ensure the rights and entitlements of the institute's technical and administrative staff are maintained.
  • Clear any remaining fines or fees owed by the institute.
• Upon cancellation or non-renewal of the Educational Services Permit, KHDA will liaise with the licensing authority to remove the training activity from the commercial licence.

• Submit the cancellation request via KHDA portal.
• KHDA reviews the application and verifies that the institute has fulfilled all obligations towards KHDA, settled all staff entitlements, and arranged for the settlement of all student-related commitments. Once confirmed, the institute is informed of the final decision.
• Upon request, KHDA issues a No Objection Certificate to the licensing authority, valid for 30 days, and the institute’s Educational Services Permit is cancelled in the KHDA system.
