- The school is responsible for continuously and accurately updating student and guardian information in the KHDA system.
- A student is not officially enrolled unless registered in the KHDA system.
- Student registration details must match Emirates ID data (name, nationality, religion).
- Students must meet the age requirement by:
- August 31 for schools starting in September
- March 31 for schools starting in April
- If a registration request is rejected, the school must explain the reason to the guardian in writing, in compliance with KHDA regulations.
- In some instances (e.g., delayed ID issuance), provisional registration is allowed for one academic year only, with the condition that all documents are completed later.
- Emirati students are not permitted to register in schools rated "Weak" or lower by KHDA.
- A student will not be registered into a grade level/year group without a valid transfer certificate or official academic documentation.
- Certificates issued from outside the UAE must be attested by the relevant educational and foreign affairs authorities in the country of issuance.
- Only final grades must be entered into the KHDA system. Preliminary or temporary grades are not accepted.
