This request initiates the cancellation of the Educational Services Permit for a permitted higher education institution. 

• All outstanding fees and fines must be paid before applying for this service.
• The institution must complete the teach-out process for all students enrolled before applying for this service.
• The rights of all administrative and technical staff of the educational institution must be protected.
• Any further obligations specified by a resolution from KHDA’s Director General must be fulfilled.

• A letter to KHDA explaining the Higher Education Institution’s reasons for cancelling the Permit and an action plan for current students and staff (teach-out process).
• A draft of the proposed communication to students.
• For International branch campuses, a confirmation letter from the home campus.

10 working days.
The processing period of 10 working days begins once KHDA has received all required documents.

• Apply via the KHDA portal and ensure that all outstanding fees and fines are settled.
• The application will be reviewed, and a verification will be carried out to confirm the completion of the teach-out process and that no students are currently enrolled at the institution, before notifying the higher education institution of the final decision.
• Upon request, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) addressed to the relevant commercial authority will be issued, valid for 30 working days, after which the Educational Services Permit will be cancelled.
