This service enables Early Childhood Centres (ECCs) to seek KHDA’s approval to appoint a new Manager responsible for its management and operations.

5 working days. The processing period of 5 working days begins once KHDA has received all required documents.
Required documents
- Candidate’s CV
- Certified copies of academic certificates and qualifications
- Copy of experience certificates
- Copy of passport including visa page or Emirates ID
- Copy of KHDA appointment letter
Terms and conditions
- The KHDA Educational Services Permit and the Commercial Licence must be valid at the time of or applying to this service.
- The Permit owner must ensure that the candidate for the position of manager of Early Childhood Centre:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree; preferably with an advanced qualification in Early Childhood Education or is in the process of obtaining such a qualification, or a professional certificate in Early Childhood Center Leadership (e.g., a Level 5 professional certificate).
- The candidate’s certificates must be properly accredited and attested by the relevant authorities in the country where they were issued and must also fulfil the requirements of KHDA in this regard.
- Has at least three years of experience working in an Early Childhood Centre.
- The candidate must possess the necessary competencies to serve as a Centre Manager, demonstrate good conduct, and have no criminal convictions or misdemeanours.
The process
- Apply through the KHDA portal, attaching all required documents and approvals.
- KHDA will review the application and make a decision.
- If approved, KHDA will update the Educational Services Permit with the new Manager’s details.
