This service allows Early Childhood Centres (ECCs) to obtain KHDA’s approval to amend their currently approved curriculum.

• New Education and Care Plan

• KHDA Educational Services Permit and the Commercial Licence must be valid at the time of submitting the application for this service.
• Submission of an updated Education and Care Plan that aligns with the standards of one of the approved curricula in the UAE.
• Approval from relevant academic accreditation bodies, where applicable.
• KHDA reserves the right to request any additional documents, data, or information deemed necessary.
• KHDA shall review the submitted amendments and issue its decision regarding the Education and Care Plan within a maximum of ten (10) working days from the date it is received.
• The centre must submit the required amendments to the Education and Care Plan within twenty-five (25) working days of being notified. The centre may submit amendments up to three (3) times. If the applicant fails to meet the submission deadline at any point, the KHDA reserves the right to reject the application.

• Apply by email to rpc@khda.gov.ae, including the new Education and Care Plan and all required documents.
• KHDA will review the submitted plan and notify the applicant of any necessary revisions or clarifications.
• Once the plan meets all required standards, KHDA will update the approved curriculum details in the system and reflect the change in the Educational Services Permit.
