27 February 2014   |   Category: School Inspection

The fifth annual report of Indian and Pakistani curriculum schools by Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB) provides a detailed analysis of the key findings. Twenty-five schools following an Indian curriculum and two Pakistani curriculum schools were inspected during 2013-14, and it is the information from these inspections which is the basis of this report. The report highlights the standard of education provided by these schools and provides a detailed review of what is working well and what requires further improvement. This report also provides an opportunity to celebrate the successes within many of these schools, which continue to have a positive impact on children and students. A variety of cases studies highlighting good practice form an integral part of this years report. It identifies the continuing trend of improvement demonstrated by those schools judged to be good or better, and the increasing number of students who attend these schools. It also highlights the significant work that still needs to take place in order to improve the attainment, progress and experience of those students attending acceptable and unsatisfactory schools.
