How to Apply for an Educational Services Permit for Your Training Institute

This is an overview of the application process to obtain an Educational Services Permit for your training institute.

What do I need to know?

1. To set up a training institute in Dubai, log in to the Invest in Dubai platform.
2. To set up a training institute in a Dubai free zone, log in to the e-Service portal and provide the following:

Service Fees: AED 15,000 - 25,000 (depends on the number of training programs)
Time frame: 8 working days for a complete submission. Submissions that are incomplete or contain errors might take longer.

Complete the process with the concerned commercial authority to obtain an Initial Approval to secure a name for your institute, check its availability with the commercial authority and obtain a Trade Name Reservation certificate from them. Provide a list of the courses and course descriptions your institution will offer.

Please log in to the e-Service portal to renew your annual permit.

• The service fee is AED 15,000 – 25,000 (depending on the number of training programs).

2. Service fee: adding course is AED 100 and adding a training program is AED 2,500.
3. Timeframe: 16 working days

Change Name

1. Trade Name reservation certificate reference number from the relevant commercial authority has to be in place
2. Service fee: AED 100
3. Timeframe: 6 working days

Change Manager

• Commercial authority’s initial approval reference number only.
• Service fee: AED 100
• Timeframe: 6 working days

Change Share Holder

1. Initial Approval reference number from relevant commercial authority.
2. Service fee: AED 100
3. Timeframe: 6 working days

Change Location

• Request to be submitted in the e-services portal outlining the details of the proposed location.
• Service fee: AED 100
• Timeframe: 6 working days
