Dubai – October 27, 2025: Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has signed a collaboration agreement with INJAZ UAE, a non-profit organisation dedicated to entrepreneurship education and youth empowerment, and a member of the global Junior Achievement (JA) network.
The partnership aims to deliver entrepreneurship, work-readiness, and financial literacy programmes to students in Dubai, supporting the goals of the Education 33 Strategy.
KHDA and INJAZ UAE will design and implement experiential learning programmes that develop students’ entrepreneurial mindset, enhance their readiness for the job market, and strengthen their understanding of financial concepts. The partnership will also promote the exchange of knowledge and best practices in skills development and enhance private sector engagement.

The agreement was signed during an event organised by KHDA in collaboration with INJAZ UAE, focusing on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work-readiness. The event was attended by Her Excellency Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA, and Faisal bin Juma Belhoul, the newly appointed Chairperson of INJAZ UAE, along with representatives from nearly 30 private schools in Dubai, as well as student entrepreneurs.
The forum highlighted the importance of integrating entrepreneurship education into students’ learning journeys. A panel discussion, moderated by Naila Al Moosawi, Country Lead – Corporate Citizenship UAE from Accenture, focused on empowering young people with the skills, creativity, and confidence needed to thrive in the future economy. The panel session also featured contributions from Dr Fatima Bu Ali, Acting Director of Quality Improvement at KHDA, Dr Ghadeer Abu Shamat, Executive Vice President – GEMS Education and Superintendent & CEO of GEMS Al Khaleej International School, Mohammad Bahaa, Managing Director – Private Sector, MENA, APCO, David Caroll – Senior Vice Presicent – MEA Treasury & Trade at Citi and Zainab Abdulhameed – student and winner of INJAZ’s Company of the Year Award.
Students from Dubai National School – Al Twar, winners of this year’s INJAZ UAE’s National Company Program competition, showcased their project “Raicom”, which will soon represent the UAE in the regional finals of INJAZ Al Arab Youth Entrepreneurship Celebration planned end of month. Other student teams also shared innovative projects reflecting their creativity and vision for the future.
INJAZ UAE also presented an overview of its flagship programmes in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career-readiness, highlighting the importance of innovation and enterprise as key drivers of individual and economic success.
Dubai’s E33 strategy seeks to transform the education ecosystem by putting students at the centre of learning and meeting their diverse aspirations. It aims to ensure that every learner in Dubai is equipped with the skills, mindset, and opportunities needed to thrive at every stage of life, from early childhood to higher education and beyond, enabling them to become active contributors to Dubai’s future.
