ABU DHABI — The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) has called on parents who wish to enrol their children in public schools to do so before April 28.
Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, ADEC’s executive director of School Operations, said that early registration will ensure children a seat at schools in their neighbourhood before the beginning of the new school year.
“Timely registration also helps schools meet the capacity needs and enables ADEC to identify and provide required teachers, textbooks, stationery and other school needs at appropriate time in accordance with the new school year plan. This is essential for a successful school year,” Al Dhaheri added.
Registration period for kindergarten to Grade 12 Emirati students started on March 6 and will end on April 28 and it will be from April 17 to 28 for primary and secondary expatriate students.
