Inspection of Private Schools - Key Findings 2013-2014

02 June 2014   |   Category: School Inspection

This is the sixth year of inspections of private schools in Dubai. The key findings report for 2013-14 provides a summary of the analysis of the findings. Inspections have shown some improvement across most curricula; this year eight schools have improved and none have declined in their overall rating. More students are attending good or outstanding schools and a greater number of these are students are Emirati. Fewer students are attending unsatisfactory schools.

In line with the National Agenda announced at the beginning of 2014 by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid, many schools are working towards improving the attainment of students against international assessments. This report highlights the schools that have improved in many aspects and those that still have much to do in order to support Dubai’s goal of being in the top performing regions in terms of educational standards.

The accompanying set of infographics is provided for all private schools in Dubai. These are presented by curricula and provide a comprehensive set of data on schools and the students who attend them.
