School self-evaluation form for improvement planning - A resource for schools 2016-2017

Accurate self-evaluation by schools is essential for the development of high quality education.

Included with this version of the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB) school self-evaluation form (SEF) is an outline of the school improvement process. The information in this document should be used alongside the UAE School Inspection Framework edition, which is also published on this website.

In addition to completing the SEF, schools are asked to respond to supplementary questions about their provision for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), innovation, the UAE National Agenda and social studies. DSIB has prepared a number of assessment tools to help each school complete the self-evaluation process.

All schools must complete the DSIB self-evaluation online document at least two weeks before their inspections.
