Dubai TIMSS 2019, ACHIEVING TIMSS NATIONAL AGENDA TARGETS & BETTER LEARNING OUTCOMES IN DUBAI'S PRIVATE SCHOOLS.
 
Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) is an international assessment of student achievement in mathematics and science at fourth and eighth grades. The study has been conducted every four years since 1995 by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA).
 
TIMSS 2019 is the seventh cycle of TIMSS. For the first time all countries and benchmarking participants were offered an option to administer the assessment in digital format. This version of the test is called eTIMSS.
 
In 2019, a total of 7265 Grade 4 students from 199 schools participated in the assessment. In Grade 8, a total of 5728 students from 163 schools participated in Dubai.
