DUBAI - About 250 students attended the Middlesex University in Dubai’s inaugural Career Day recently.

According to a Press release, the aim was to expose final year students to local employers and Graduate Training Schemes, the local labour market and submit their resumes for entry level graduate positions.

Second year students also attended and were keen to discuss opportunities for internships and temporary work opportunities.

Silver jubilee

ABU DHABI - The Luqman College of Pharmacy in Gulbarga, India, is celebrating its silver jubilee this year with its first alumni meet in July.

The gathering of all the old students who passed D. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy, and M. Pharmacy, will be held at the college premises. A large number of graduates from the college are working in the Gulf region.

Career fair

DUBAI - Representatives of companies that took part in a career fair organised by the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) in Dubai recently found students to be aware, focused and confident of the careers they wish to pursue.

According to a Press release, the third UOWD Annual Career Fair attracted over 300 undergraduate and post-graduate students, as well as fresh graduates, from the university, showing keen interest in the participating companies, including multinational corporations as well as local ones, presenting career opportunities available in their organisations.
