RAS AL KHAIMAH - Ittihad University will shift three faculties to its new campus on the Emirates Road in Ras Al Khaimah in the next academic year, according to University Chancellor Dr Adnan Al Bazi.

The remaining faculties would be shifted after all construction work on the new campus was completed.

Speaking to Khaleej Times yesterday, Dr Al Bazi said the faculties of Business Administration, Accounting and Languages would be shifted to the new campus in the forthcoming semester following 80 per cent completion of the construction work.

He stressed the state of-the-art university campus, located at the first exit of the Emirates Road, consisted of study rooms, a traditional and an electronic library, well-equipped laboratories, centres of IT, language, information and open learning for boys and girls, sports halls and playgrounds.

According to Al Bazi, the new campus would be able to accommodate the increasing number of students being admitted to various university colleges.
