Service Description

This service allows schools to request the enrollment of a student in a lower grade or academic year. Such requests must be supported by sufficient evidence (i.e. academic or medical challenges) that justify the student’s need for demotion.

The process

  • Step 1: The school submits the student demotion request through KHDA portal, attaching all required supporting documents (medical report, Individualised Support Plan, Placement test results).
  • Step 2: KHDA reviews the request and supporting evidence.
  • Step 3: The request is either approved or rejected, based on compliance with the relevant policies and requirements.
