This service allows schools to request approval from KHDA to modify a teacher’s assignment by adding new subjects or grade levels/year groups to their teaching schedule.

Required documents:

  • Attested university degree, including the teacher’s main specialisation and academic transcript.
  • Teacher's experience certificates (from inside or outside the UAE).

The process:

  • Step 1: The school submits a request through KHDA portal to modify the teaching assignments of a teacher registered in the system, specifying the additional subjects or classes.
  • Step 2: KHDA reviews the request and verifies the teacher's eligibility along with the submitted qualifications.
  • Step 3: If all requirements are met, the new subjects or grade levels/year groups are approved and updated in the KHDA system. If the request is not approved, the school is notified with the relevant remarks.
