Dubai: A team from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) investigated after parents complained about the large number of students in classes at Raffles International School.
It said the overcrowding hopefully will be temporary. "Some classes temporarily have 27 students instead of 25, but this will be amended as new classrooms are to open soon."
The parents also complained of lack of teaching staff, support staff and facilities and concerns over the health and security at the school campus.
With regards to the shortage of equipments, the KHDA said there have been delays due to requests by the International Baccalaureate (IB) team to redesign the laboratories.
In the same report it said the school was delayed in distributing books as it was "awaiting approval from the Ministry of Education".
The school management admitted to errors between accounts and admissions on invoicing issues, but said these are corrected upon notification.
