Abu Dhabi — In a step to protect the health of students in the schools across the country, the Ministry of Education (MoE) is seeking to implement new health curricula soon through health education programmes, Khaleej Times has learnt.

“The health education will include new subjects about nutrition and physical exercises and will inform the students on the dangers of the fast food in addition to the necessity of sports to build their bodies,” informed sources at the ministry told this reporter.

About implementing the new curricula, the sources said that the ministry is training the instructors and preparing booklets on subjects that are easy to learn. The sources affirmed that the ministry is keen on improving the first aid clinics in the schools.
