DUBAI - Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, launched a new initiative to help increase the spirit of national identity among government employees as part of the 37th UAE National Day celebrations.
According to the programme, Dubai Government departments will be rewarded on an annual basis for meeting a set of criteria that includes assessing the level of commitment of Emirati employees in wearing the national dress at international events.
The programme will reflect the importance of the Arabic language as a primary means of communication.
Training will be given to spread the culture of national identity among the various sections in the government sector prior to launching the initiative. -
