Doha: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday held talks with Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar.
They discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between the UAE and Qatar in science, technology and higher education.
Shaikh Mohammad congratulated Shaikh Hamad on the graduation of the first batch of students from the Qatar Educational City, which hosts several international universities.
"Any achievement by an Arab country in education is an achievement for all of us," Shaikh Mohammad said. Earlier, Shaikh Mohammad and the Emir of Qatar attended the graduation of the first batch of over 120 students from the Qatar Educational City.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and CEO of Emirates group, and other senior officials from both sides.
