Ras Al Khaimah: Standards in public schools are to be improved nationwide with the help of foreign expertise, the Ministry of Education has said.
Abdullah Ali Musabah, the Director-General of the ministry, said the ministry's strategies and ambitious plans would be implemented very soon.
He was speaking on Monday to hundreds of public school teachers at the emirate's Cultural Centre as part of activities organised by the Emirates Cultural and Sports Club.
Musabah stressed that the educational process in the UAE urgently needed support and development.
"The educational process in the UAE faces difficulties that need to be reviewed by the UAE Cabinet," he said.
Musabah expressed his optimism about the future of the educational process in the UAE.
The festival, which is one of the UAE's biggest cultural events, was organised under the patronage of Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ras Al Khaimah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler.
