Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Education signed a co-operation agreement with etisalat to provide government schools with internet connectivity and technical support services.
The two parties agreed to formulate a taskforce committee that will put a timeline for implementing the articles of the memorandum of understanding.
The pact was signed by Dr Hanif Hassan, Minister of Education, and Mohammad Hassan Omran, etisalat CEO. The aim of the pact is to raise the efficiency of schools, students, encourage them to more efforts and creative thinking.

Promoting policies and regulations for developing human resources qualifications is one of the main priorities of the federal government strategic plan.
Dr Hassan emphasised that the agreement comes as part of the Ministry's initiatives to reform the country's education system, encourage communication between the Ministry of Education with the public and private sectors and apply educational best practices and strategies. The Ministry also supports the schools administrations to apply the project in the correct timeline.
