DUBAI/ABU DHABI — All Grade X students of Gulf Model School have passed the CBSE examinations.
Revathy Sajikumar topped in the school with 88 per cent, followed by Alia Ansari 85 per cent, and Jacob K. George 82 per cent.
Principal Moli Rajan said the results show the quality of education provided by the school. "The school started 25 years ago and our students have always given us 100 per cent results in the SSLC and HSC examinations. This was the first CBSE batch in the school and we are elated to get the same results," she said.
Atif Saleem, Muroor Vikas Rao and Rishabh Kabra were the toppers of Our Own High School, Al Warqa with 94.4 per cent.
Buds Public School also fared very well with 100 per cent results. Mobitha Begum topped in the school with 84 per cent marks followed by Jackson Senabathy who got 72 per cent.
Meanwhile, the Al Noor Indian Islamic School in Abu Dhabi also clinched 100 per cent results. Of the 51 students who appeared for the examinations from the school, 10 students got distinctions while the rest of the students passed with first class, the Press release added.
Mohammed Tasdeeq clinched the top position in the school obtaining 87 per cent marks while the second position was grabbed by Fadiya Ali with 86 per cent marks and Mehnaz stood third obtaining 85 per cent.
Harsh Bhardwaj topped with 93.8 per cent marks in Asian International School, Ruwais in Abu Dhabi. Shefali Virendra Gundecha stood second with 91.4 per cent while Nitha Benny secured the third place with 91 per cent. Apoorv Gupta bagged 100 per cent marks in Mathematics, the Press release said.
Reshmasree from Our Own English High School, Abu Dhabi, scored 96 per cent marks becoming the topper in Abu Dhabi and the second highest scorer across the UAE, the release said.
Reshmashree said she is very happy in achieving this, though she missed the top position by one mark.
George Mathew, principal of the school, expressed his happiness in the extremely good performance of his school. Ninety-five per cent of the students achieved more than first class marks, of whom 77 per cent got distinction.
Ideal English School, Ras Al Khaimah, also secured 100 per cent results in the examinations. Asma Ismail notched the first position followed by Rana Nadim, Rupinder Kaur and Nathasha Hasmathulla., the release stated.
Oasis School, Al Ain, bagged 100 per cent results with Ajmal Unais, Shereefa A.M and Abdul Raheem becoming the top three in that order. The management committee, the principal and staff congratulated the students.
