Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a federal decree appointing Yousuf Al Shaiba Khamis Al Sharyani as Executive Director for Educational Affairs in the grade of assistant undersecretary at the Ministry of Education.
The appointment is part of the administrative and structural development process being pursued at the ministry enabling it to take up its new roles in implementing the educational strategy of the country.
After graduating in engineering from the University of Santiago, Al Sharyani studied at the Dubai campus of the Manchester University, from where he obtained his masters degree in strategic projects management.
He was one of the 18 people selected by the government of Abu Dhabi to study management innovation at the post graduate level at Insead, the business school of the world.
