ABU DHABI - Abu Dhabi Education Council has fixed Dh6,000 as the tuition fees for expatriate students enrolled in the governmental schools in Al Gharbia (Western Region).
The fees is for all students— from Grade I to XII.
Abdel-Aziz Al Mansoury, Deputy Director of Educational Affairs at the Western Region Education Zone, said this fee suits parents of all income levels in the region.
Al Mansoury said Dh6,000 would be collected from expatriate students joining government schools at the time of admission.
Al Mansoury hailed the kind gesture of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for instructing to admit expatriate students in government schools as well as private-public partnership schools in Al Gharbia.
The official said this amount of fees would be of great help for expatriate families.
It may be mentioned here that the expatriates students in Al Gharbia were recently allowed by the authorities to enroll in government-run schools from from Grade I to XII in Western Region Education Zone.
