Dubai — Dubai residents and their families employed in the education sector will soon have a designated centre to apply for their national identity card as required by the Emirates Identity Authority (EIA).
The emirate’s education body, Knowledge and Human Development Authority, has agreed to allow the EIA the use of their Tolitola Centre as a location for issuing identity cards to all residents employed in the education sector in Dubai. The agreement comes into effect after Eid and the centre will be open from 7.30am to 2.30pm, with a lunch break.
Fatma Al Marri, the CEO of the School Agency, recently met with Mohammed Al Khaili, CEO of EIA registration centres, to finalise the agreement.
The aim of the cooperation is to facilitate the ID card registration process for everyone employed in the education field irrespective of their nationality and whether they are employed in private or public education.
