DUBAI — People in the UAE can now study English in the UK and also experience the English way of life with visits to the theatres, historic monuments and sporting events.
British Council, the UK’s organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, and English UK launched an online competition for the second year to win free tuition to study in Britain.
The competition, ‘Let your English Grow’ launched this Monday, offers a wide range of organisations and locations for applicants to choose from. Each one of the institutions is officially accredited by the British Council and English UK, the UK’s national association of accredited English language centres, and promises to provide the best possible environment to study English. Last year, around 400 entrants and almost 40 of the winners were from the UAE. This year the competition will run in Thailand, Brazil, Turkey and the UAE. The competition is open to all ages living in the UAE .
